Foundation Degree Digital Media Design

I am undertaking a Foundation Degree course in Digital Media Design, during my studdies I will be updating this site with new artwork to produce a portfolio of work. I will also be recording my grades and producing a work blog as I progress through the course.

Study
' Students on the programme will learn the creative and technical skills demanded of today's multi-disiplinary designers. Initially individuals will be introduced to various aspects of working with image and typography together with sound production and moving image. Later, various pathways are offered to students including interactive and web design, motion graphics and animation.

The latset hardware and software technologies are utilised for creative exploration whilst fundamental organisational and directorial skills are developed.

Professional knowledge and understanding will be supported by the study of the contexts in which visual communication is achieved, integrating theory with practice.'
